Please help plant native trees & shrubs at Borough Park April 9, 10, and 11!!  Enter from 130 Tennis Avenue.  We'll be starting at 8:30 on Friday the 9th & Saturday the 10th and at 12:30 on Sunday the 11th.  We will work until dusk all three days.  Please bring shovels & rakes if you can.

The Ambler EAC is an Environmental Advisory Council made up of a group of community residents, appointed by Borough Council.  Our members devote time and energy to assist elected and appointed officials in protecting the environment.  We advise the local planning commission, park and recreation board, and elected officials on the protection, conservation, management, promotion, and use of natural resources within Ambler Borough limits.  Ambler EAC is supported by the Ambler Borough Council Parks & Recreation Committee.

HIGHLIGHTED INITIATIVES:

REUSABLE BAGS FOR LIFE!

Ambler's EAC organized a design contest in 2009 for students from four Wissahickon schools to create artwork that promotes reusable bag use.

Four beautiful reusable and washable twill bags printed with the winning designs are now available for sale.  Buy all four!!  For additional information, to order, to sell bags, or to volunteer, please contact Susan Curry 215-591-1551.
