Ambler Community Garden
The Ambler Community Garden will have information about their upcoming season. They will have make and take activities for adults and children. There will be tours of the garden provided for anyone interested.

The members of the Human Relations Commission (HRC) in the Borough will be present to provide information about and roles and tasks of this group within the borough. Flyers in English and Spanish about the HRC will be available to the participants.
Ambler Recycling DisplayA display of items that can be recycled in Ambler Borough will be presented.
Altair EcoVillage
Altair is dedicated to helping other communities form and build ecovillages. They will also be making available homes in the Kimberton EcoVillage.
Altair EcoVillage plans to be net-zero energy, have a ride-sharing program, and get a Silver rating in the US Green Building Council's Sustainable SITES initiative. They use the model of Cohousing for the social and physical structure, and hope to be built end of next year.

Birdtown – Wyncote Audubon Society
The Wyncote Audubon Society (Conservation Arm) will present information and provide materials about Bird Habitat Recognition signs and forms. They will included information about gardening for the many aspects of gardening for the birds. Their mission is to get people interested in planting natives to save the birds, butterflies, bees and all other wildlife.
Briar Bush Nature Center
Briar Bush believes that nature is for everyone and offers environmental education and events for all ages and backgrounds. Table visitors will learn more about the wide variety of programs and volunteer opportunities. Nature artifacts will be on display as well as an interactive nature-themed activity.
CCA for PA Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) for PA
The Power of Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) CCA enables local governments to choose electricity provider(s) for their constituents, at no cost. With CCA, PA Boroughs can purchase electricity on behalf of all residents and small businesses within their jurisdiction.
Citizens' Climate Lobby
Citizens' Climate Lobby (Bucks/Mont Chapter) will present information concerning climate change and and promotion of a national carbon fee and dividend policy.
Clean Energy Co-opThe Clean Energy Co-op works to develop local solar projects by our members collectively investing in the the project.
Clean Water Action
Clean Water Action is an environmental advocacy group with two departments in Philly: our program team which does legislative relations, research, and community meetings, and our canvass team which does grassroots organizing and field campaign outreach.
Climate Reality Project
Climate Reality Project will provide information on climate change and what individuals can do about it. They will have information on the Inflation Reduction Act. We also have information on Project Drawdown, which ranks the most effective measures that can be taken to draw down greenhouse gases.
Journeywork
Helping to provide volunteers and guidance to families, schools, and congregations to help them reduce their lawn and plant native plants. Table will also include an interactive yard exhibit that people can design.
Lower Gwynedd EAC
The mission of the Lower Gwynedd EAC is to educate, facilitate and promote sustainable practices within Lower Gwynedd Township and the greater community through educational workshops and programs, articles and community events.
Maker Mindset
The Maker Mindset is a small business that promotes sustainable living and helps the community rethink the way they use and buy products. We will be promoting our first 3 projects: Plarn (plastic bag yarn) mats for the homeless, Upcycling clothing (with holes and stains), and collecting plastic bottles and caps to melt down and turn into something else. These projects focus on helping our community create a circular economy rather than linear.

Mobilization for Animals
Mobilization for Animals PA, Inc. (MFA PA) is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization educating the public about ethical, health and environmental issues surrounding our treatment of nonhuman animals. We work to stop the abuse and killing of animals who are used for food, hunted for sport, exploited for entertainment, bred for pet shops, or are homeless.
Montgomery County Master Watershed Stewards
The Montgomery County Master Watershed Stewards will have 1 1/2' - 2' native trees and shrubs available for free, along with necessary support and deer protection. As part of a partnership with Keystone 10 Million Trees, recipients will need to register the location they will plant the tree/shrub(s) by scanning a QR code, and then will receive up to 3 free native trees/shrubs from the following: Arrowwood Viburnum, Black Chokeberry, Buttonbush, Sassafras, Serviceberry, Spicebush and Paw-Paw.
PennEnvironment
PennEnvironment will provide information about how to protect our environment by tackling single use plastics and fighting climate change through citizen advocacy.
Plant Ambler
Plant Ambler will provide gardening advice, give out flower and vegetable seed packets, and run a children’s activity. They will present instructions on how to plant, soil conditions, temperatures and proper time of year.
Temple Ambler Arboretum
The Ambler Arboretum of Temple University is an excellent educational resource for students, faculty and visitors alike.
ThreadsbyWissThreadsbyWiss is a Wissahickon High School club whose mission is to promote sustainability through minimizing textile waste. We do so through repurposing old clothes and materials to upcycle and create a stronger community through knitting, crocheting, and creating together. We will talk about the negative impacts of the textile industry and fast fashion, along with our goal of changing that through upcycling materials.
Upper Dublin Bird Town (Conservation Arm of Wyncote Audubon Society)
Bird Town will provide informational materials and potential Bird Habitat Recognition signs and forms.
Information will include conservation, biodiversity, trees, native plants, invasive plants and birds.
Upper Dublin Environmental Sciences PBL Class
We will have a game called "This or That" set up at our table, where people choose between options on what is better for the environment/planet. The topics will cover materials, water, and carbon footprint. We will tie it all to our year long project (courtyard) as well as having knowledge prepared for us to tell people.
Upper Dublin Environmental Protection Advisory Board
EPAB initiates or advises the Upper Dublin Board of Commissioners on issues relating to protecting the quality of water, land and air resources including issues such as stormwater, erosion control, land use, waste disposal, recycling and chemical usage.
Upper Dublin High School Environmental Education Club
The UDHS Environmental Education Club invests in our future by helping educate the younger generation on how to recycle. This in the long run will ensure that more people understand recycling and will protect our planet in the future!
Wissahickon Trails
A non-profit that connects land, water, and people in the Montgomery County portion of the Wissahickon Valley. Their mission is inspire and engage diverse communities of people to protect, steward, and enjoy the land and waterways of the Wissahickon Valley.
Wissahickon Valley Public Library - Ambler Branch
Library story-time with an environmental theme, library books on the environment plus library card registrations.
Children’s librarian, Delia will have story time in the playground at 11:00am and 1:00pm.
Whitpain Environmental Advisory Council
The Whitpain EAC will provide information about their group’s initiatives and hand out information sheets about various environment topics, including pollinator gardens.
Woman's National Farm & Garden Association (Ambler-Keystone Chapter)
The Women's National Farm & Garden Association, is a non-profit community organization founded in 1914 by a group of women attending the Pennsylvania School of Horticulture for Women (now a part of Ambler Arboretum). The group's goals center on the conservation of natural resources and environmental stewardship through community engagement and education. Specifically, we are focusing on habitat preservation/recovery, and facilitating the incorporation of native plants in our gardens. Come learn about native plant selection, or visit our native plant demonstration garden at Twining Valley Park, Upper Dublin. New Members are welcome!
**A native plant seedling sale will take place at Twining Valley Park (by park buildings) on May 20, 11-2.
Weavers Way WWEC
THE WWEC will provide information about plastic reduction and alternatives. Products will be displayed. We will discuss the advantages of bulk items with reusable containers and utilizing our own containers.

The 2023 Earth Fest will include an array of fully electric vehicles spanning a variety of makes and model. Learn directly from local EV owners about the benefits of owing an EV from the environmental, safety, technological and financial. Forget about oil changes, frequent brake changes, tune ups and gas station stops. Were going electric!

Student Presentations and Interactive Displays
Student representatives will be at Earth Fest providing education on topics such as the environmental benefits of a vegan diet and recycling.
There will also be students here to talk about Electric Vehicles alongside a fun and interactive Tesla game!

Come sit with the Wissahickon Valley Public Library and hear them read some books from their collection!

What is Earthfest?
The Ambler Environmental Advisory Council often holds an Earth Fest celebration in the Spring time around Ambler Borough Hall, located on 131 Rosemary Avenue, in Ambler Borough. Organizations whose focus is on environmental issues will display exhibits, eco art, and interactive educational displays. Activities for children will be offered and food will be available for purchase. Local discounts around town for sustainable food and goods may be offered as well.
